Integration of Air Products PMD Specialty Additives Business to Evonik Industries AG
As publicly announced on January 3rd 2017, Evonik Industries AG (Evonik) has completed the purchase of Air Products and Chemicals Inc.’s (AP) Performance Materials Division (PMD). Parts of PMD’s Specialty Additives business will be therefore part of Evonik’s Business Line Interface & Performance.
This significant step gives you access to the fascinating world of former PMD Specialty Additives. We are very excited to offer market-leading brands like SURFYNOL®, DYNOL®, CARBOWET®, TOMADOL® and TOMAMINE® within our product portfolio. We are sure that this move will foster our application and innovation capabilities to support you even better to differentiate your products in your target markets.
Our integration approach means no immediate changes for you. We offer all products of both portfolios. Also your individual contact person will remain the same – on the Evonik as well as on the former PMD side, on the commercial side as well as on the technical side. And of course you can count on our emphasis on service and reliability like in the past.
Over the next months we will then optimize our customer facing activities in a thoughtful way, always with priority to ensure continuity of service and joined projects, to enhance the value for our customers. This transition phase will be managed very closely and you will be informed on all relevant steps in advance.
We greatly appreciate your business and we are looking forward working closely together with you to make things happen! If you have any questions in between, please contact your existing contacts at Interface & Performance.
Thank you very much for your continued trust!
